Summary
You have a rare opportunity to make an immediate impact and partner with an industry leader! Kraus-Anderson is currently seeking an Accounting Intern for summer 2025, with the opportunity to work with both KA Construction and KA Realty.
Responsibilities in which the student may be involved include:
Aid in the payment disbursement for trade partners and key suppliers
Develop a Knowledge Base within a Job Costing Environment
Assist with Project Budgeting and Forecasting
Prepare and assist with General Ledger Account Reconciliations, including preparation of journal entries
Aid in the Month End Close Process and Financial Review
Aid in helping improve processes that increase value to both internal and external customers.
Collect, organize, validate and share data
Review and summarize contracts
Assist with Project and/or Property Budgeting and Forecasting
Assist in Ad Hoc Projects within the KA Realty Accounting and Investment Management Groups.
Preferred qualifications for this opportunity are:
Completion of Junior year toward a Bachelor Degree either in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
Desire to work in a construction and real estate financial management environment
Introductory knowledge of data management, analytics, and governance
Introductory knowledge of BI and dashboarding
Introductory knowledge of report building and management
General knowledge of IT
Ability to learn quickly in an interactive environment
Outgoing and enjoys networking with professionals at all levels and in multiple fields within an organization
Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
Pay Range: $16.00 to $20.00 hourly
Pay is based on many factors including but not limited to education, skill, experience, training, certifications, and other business needs.
