GENESIS 10 Systems Engineer in MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Genesis10 is currently seeking a Systems Engineer for a contract lasting through December 2023 (with possibility of extension or conversion to permanent staff) working with a Fortune 90 insurance company in Milwaukee, IL. Description: This resource will help enhance, support, upgrade and maintain the BeyondTrust installation as part of a small team within Client\'s Customer Success organization. Responsibilities: Accountable for analysis, design, development, implementations, and upgrades of infrastructure, software, and technology solutions. Responsible for using standard methodologies and knowledge of internal or external business needs to improve and meet service level expectations. Supervise, proactively to prevent and resolve application system performance bottlenecks. Proactively ensure SLAs are maintained as well as systems are built for sustainability. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience required due to job requirements. Experience managing Virtual Linux and Windows servers. Experience supporting a BeyondTrust/ Bomgar installation. Basic understanding of networking and TCP/UDP protocols. HTTPS & LDAP connections. Desktop Services - Operating system & web browser knowledge of controller and target devices (Windows, MacOS); For jump clients, understanding of agents. Excellent troubleshooting skills within area of expertise. Understanding of high-availability concepts. Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent experience. 1-3 years of professional experience with the following: Working with at least 1 OS/ hosting platform. Monitoring and performance management of systems. Scripting development. Identity Platform and tools. You understand the technical concepts that are vital to do your job optimally and are aware of industry trends in your domain. You have a good sense of where to find answers and are able to grow your own knowledge both with and without mentorship. You have in depth knowledge of immediate systems you work on and some knowledge of adjacent systems. What are the must haves for this role? Experience managing Virtual Linux and Windows servers.
