GRAEF’s Survey Services has an exciting opportunity in our Milwaukee Headquarters office for a Survey Technician.

Primary responsibilities may include:

  • Mentor under the direction of Professional Land Surveyors, you will assist in the development of Plat of Surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Wisconsin Department of Transportation Project Plats, Traditional Plats, and Easement Exhibits.

  • Processing and mapping Topographic Surveys.

  • Preparing construction staking layouts.

  • Utility coordination

    We are considering Survey Technician candidates to join our GRAEF team who possess the following basic qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in civil engineering technology, or equivalent.

  • A minimum of 1 year of comparable survey technician experience. Candidates with additional years of experience are encouraged to apply.

  • Basic understanding of Land Surveying fundamentals and legal principles.

  • Experience in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, Blue Beam and Microsoft Office preferred.
