JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description: Purpose To carry out, under supervision, the development and testing of a new device that will apply small movements to a treadmill. This position is a limited term summer assignment. Primary Functions Work as a member of a design/development team in the Integrative Neural Engineering and Rehabilitation Laboratory. Develop hardware and software components. Liaise with other researchers on project progress. Provide reports of analysis and investigations Participate in meetings with principle investigator and research staff and evaluate/interpret the validity of data as needed. Preferred Schedule: Position Requirements: Knowledge - Skills - Abilities Knowledge of biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, documentation, and records management. Familiarity with electromechanical systems; Matlab or other programming experience; critical thinking; communications skills.
