DEMATIC CORP Sr. Solution Concept Developer in MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Dematic is looking for a Senior Solution Concept Developer to join our Solution Development team in Grand Rapids, MI. This position offers flexibility with options for remote or hybrid work arrangements. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop optimized and complex material handling automation solutions. As the technology expert, you will lead the integration of Dematic and partner solutions, focusing on the design of transportation, storage, and workstation systems for pallets, cases, totes, and units. Your designs will incorporate software, hardware, and control systems and will be communicated through material flow diagrams and 3D design tools. The base pay range for this role is \$115,000 - \$145,000, not including year end bonus. Tasks and Qualifications: This is What You Will do in This Role: Review requirements inputs from and closely collaborate with Solution Consultants in the solution design Creation of Material Flow(s) for solutions and validate equipment rates Lead and create 3D models (Maestro) and proposal drawings Apply standard subsystems and modules to solutions where appropriate Develop Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) costing Obtain ROM costing approvals Research and identify DEMATIC and partner technologies which drive client\'s success Be THE Expert in assigned Dematic Standard Sub-Systems and Modules Drive problem-solving efforts for project and process performance using LEAN principles Communicate Technological Differentiators to Clients and support presentations Conduct iterative concept reviews Collaborate with key project & solution team stakeholders by hosting and supporting concept, technical and cost reviews What We are Looking For: Preferred Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering 5+ years of industrial design experience 3+ years of logistics and automation experience Knowledgeable in Distribution Center operations High Level understanding of material handling technology Proficient in concepting with modern digital tools Lean Certification preferred Willingness to travel 15-25% #LI-BG1 #In-Post Dematic provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online: ipc.us/t/ABA00716BF8C47DA
