MCW: SARGEANT HEALTH CENTER Research Resource Coordinator in MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description: As a Research Resource Coordinator in the Research Office you will work closely with Center Administrator to coordinate and execute the daily financial and administrative activities of the BRC. Ensure smooth operations for BRC and research staff in partnership with the administrative team. Provide support to the team to facilitate successful achievement of the BRC\'s mission in alignment with the BRC\'s vision and values and in a manner consistent with established policies, procedures, and regulations. Primary Functions Prepare reports, ad hoc analysis, and transactional activities required to support revenue generation and collection and financial functions. Collaborate on the development of program materials, forms, and reports. Research, consolidate, and present data or other materials using a variety of software such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and core management software. Coordinate, plan, and implement office activities and procedures of the BRC. Work with program leaders to develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive databases and files. Maintain timelines including tracking deadlines and program components. Reconcile monthly financial statements and assist in preparing annual budget. Prepare and provide various monthly and quarterly reports for analysis and projections. Prepare and maintain confidential records and files to effectively manage information following regulatory guidelines. Respond to inquiries, troubleshoot issues and support MCW teams at the department, division, and lab level. Verify accuracy of data, performance indicators, and compute basic financial arithmetic. Conduct training of program staff and participants. Identify, enhance, and follow specific processes and procedures to maximize efficiency of the BRC. Initiate purchase order requests, check requests, and travel expenses. Cross-train with other administrative team members to ensure continuous operations, including but not limited to, ordering animals and controlled substances, adhering to pertinent laws and regulations.
