Real Estate Services Clerk Register of Deeds Hourly Pay Range: \$16.70 - \$25.05 Closing Date: February 4, 2025 or upon receipt of the first 50 applications submission received Job Summary: The Real Estate Services Clerk examines and records real estate documents, both paper and electronic, via ROD\'s land records software. Provides written and/or verbal explanations as to what is statutorily missing and/or incorrect to real estate professionals and the public. Conducts general research and assists customers with location of recorded documents. Fields inquiries from customers regarding real estate recordings, and maintains an accurate index of all recordings Job Responsibilities: Examine recordable instruments with varying requirements for statutory compliance per s59.43. Maintain chain of title when multiple documents are submitted for recording simultaneously. Accurately record or reject documents based on established criteria.
