Join our team as a Global Product Quality Director. Job Summary This role is responsible for ensuring premium product hardware and software quality through Product Development by defining the strategy, people, processes, and tools driving A-grade product launch quality, quality performance management, problem prevention, detection and elimination activities related to vehicle and part quality, across all functions (Product Quality, Supplier Quality & Development, Manufacturing Quality, Logistics & Packaging Quality, Digital Quality, Quality Management System, etc.) This individual will act as the key quality interface with the global engineering leadership team (SVP Global Motorcycle Development, VP Engineering, GM Systems Engineering, and Engineering Chiefs) as it relates to quality and will be the subject matter expert and change agent to ensure delivery of premium quality to our customers. This individual will sit on a variety of forums and be an influential leader of continuous improvement of quality, reliability, and customer experience. Job Responsibilities Create and lead a team of highly capable professional quality engineers that will be embedded in the product development teams, along with the appropriate management structure. Develop a strategy and build/lead a team to work in conjunction with engineering VP, GMs and Chiefs to create a thorough APQP plan for major, mid, and minor development programs to ensure quality is designed-in to our products. Integrate DFX (assembly, manufacture, service, repair, etc.) into the LCP process with leading and lagging indicators of success. Work across functions to bring reliability and warranty data early into the design process and collaborate with product and engineering leadership to set goals for improvement that are built-in to the development...
