Purpose This position supports the growth of MCW faculty by assisting the Physician Recruiter with the logistics of the recruitment process to result in successful placement of faculty candidates. The Physician Recruitment Coordinator is a liaison between departments, the practices, candidates and the Office of Faculty Affairs (OFA). The role is responsible for coordination of employment activities which includes managing relationships with third party vendors, the practices and faculty candidates to ensure a smooth candidate process which includes support of full cycle recruitment, managing offer letters, and on-boarding of faculty. This role works closely with departments and candidates to ensure all paperwork is complete and accurate. Primary Functions * Create and coordinate consistent and complex physician candidate and spouse/significant other interview itineraries while maintaining confidentiality. This may include but is not limited to arranging for travel, lodging, meals, transportation, city tours, meeting with relators and schools. * Establish and maintain on-going relationships with departments, MCP, CSG, OFA and other outside vendors to anticipate and resolve potential problems. * Develops and maintains an effective working knowledge of physician employment agreements, employment process, and benefits to answer candidate questions as needed. * Assists with candidate reimbursement process for incidental expenses incurred by candidate or spouse/significant other. * Work directly with departments on completing the CBAP, credentialing, and contacting the Medical Staff Office for privileges. * Coordinates with Physician Recruiter and hiring manager to ensure a successful on-boarding experience, which may include relocation services. * Maintain a physician applicant database in the Recruitment Management System (RMS) which can be utilize for future recruitments. * Coordinate with departments common recruitment activities which includes advertising recommendation/placement, alternative candidate sourcing methods (i.e. mailings, email campaigns, social media, etc.), spouse/significant other placement and various other tasks. * Develop and improve upon processes, procedures, policies and techniques to recruit physicians.
