Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the production department within our manufacturing plant. This leadership role requires a strong commitment to safety and a focus on continuous improvement in Cost, Quality, Service, and Productivity. The Operations Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers to align operational activities with business objectives. This position demands effective leadership in building, coaching, and mentoring teams, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily plant operations, including production and maintenance. Oversee production planning, analyze capacity demand, and adjust plans based on supply and demand changes. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence. Establish and communicate clear goals aligned with organizational vision. Monitor key performance indicators, support capital expenditures, and ensure budget adherence. Actively participate in safety and quality management programs. Ensure comprehensive employee training and development. Develop and document manufacturing processes considering all operational needs. Maintain adequate operating supplies and coordinate with material planners. Oversee production routings within SAP and create the annual operating budget. Job Complexity: Provide 24-hour accountability for the Operations Department. Balance independent and interconnected production processes with a flexible workforce. Manage dynamic production schedules and maintain appropriate inventory levels. Lead or participate in cross-functional problem-solving teams as needed. Facilitate the implementation of operational excellence tools and manage multiple projects.
