View details of our total rewards package. This role performs a wide range of office support functions for departments within the College of Business Administration. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Supporting faculty in Accounting, Economics and Marketing to include copying handouts and syllabuses, coordinating luncheons, reserving rooms, and processing expense reimbursements for 35+ faculty including procurement card processing. Work with faculty to plan large speaking events, including processing reimbursements, speaker payments, contracts, and other payments. 2. Work with Department Chairs and supervisor to analyze, track and maintain budgets. 3. In collaboration with the Department Chairs and other leaders, build classes for fall, spring, and summer terms in Peoplesoft (CLSS) software program. Work closely with the Office of the Registrar to ensure accuracy in the class schedules, and meet all deadlines put forth by the Office of the Registrar. 4. Assist supervisor with processing miscellaneous salary payments, part-time faculty reactivations and assignment continuations, graduate student new hires and reactivations, and full-time faculty continuations into the online system. 5. Create online employment requisitions on the HR employment site, as requested by Department Chairs for all new full-time and part-time faculty positions. Serve as the Department liaison for new faculty hires and work with the candidates on collecting all necessary hiring paperwork. Provide assistance with onboarding new faculty hires. 6. Order and stock office supplies; prepare purchase orders through the COUPA purchasing system. 7. Assist the Department Chairs by collecting confidential pieces of information and preparing packets for the annual promotion and tenure process in order to meet deadlines put forth by the Provost\'s Office. 8. Schedule faculty to meet with prospective students as directed by the Office of Admissions. 9. Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor. Must possess excellent customer service skills, flexibility, prioritization, and organizational skills. Ability to organize and maintain manual and electronic filing systems. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Peoplesoft. Ability to access created networked files, and ability to maintain confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have related, relevant experience in an office setting; must have demonstrated experience in providing exceptional customer service; must be able to work independently under minimal supervision with ability to prioritize appropriately; must possess diplomacy. Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience working in a higher education setting preferred.
