Primary Function As a Master Lab Technician working with electronics and sensors, you will be responsible for supporting A. O. Smith\'s research and development activities by scoping requirements, designing and building electronic test setups for laboratory experiments, conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing test data, and troubleshooting results. Responsibilities Test Setup Design - work with senior research engineers to scope, develop and build custom test setups for lab experiments including but not limited to test hardware (e.g. National Instruments, Raspberry Pi, or custom PCBs), test software (e.g. embedded controls and LabView), wire harnessing, and data acquisition systems. Lab Experiments - independently or under the guidance of senior engineers, perform laboratory experiments supporting A. O. Smith water heating and treating research projects. Data Analysis - analyze experimental data to identify trends and collaborate with research team to draw meaningful conclusions from the test results.
