FTE: 1.000000 Shift: Shift 1 Job Summary: The manager is responsible for the operational functions of the Radiation Oncology Department. The manager is accountable for human resources management, service quality, financial performance and compliance with the standards of regulatory agencies. EXPERIENCE DESCRITION: A minimum of three years of treatment experience in a progressive radiation oncology department (preferably an academic institution), followed by a minimum of two years in supervisory/leadership roles in radiation oncology is required.EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Graduate of an accredited School of Radiation Therapy Technology is required. Bachelors degree in radiologic science or related field is required. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills. Ability to work harmoniously with staff at all levels within the organization. Ability to use a personal computer for electronic communication, work processing and basic spreadsheet functions.LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Registered as an RT (T) Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
