How you\'ll create opportunities in this Manager/Director - Property Tax role: File real property tax appeals on behalf of clients as needed Utilize available resources to perform Cost, Market and Income Approach valuations for properties to be appealed Identify resources needed for valuation Review client real estate holdings to identify property tax appeal opportunities Represent clients in negotiations with taxing authorities Develop Staff to support real property tax appeals process Provide support and guidance for Personal Property Tax Compliance Team Help identify consulting opportunities and potential areas of risk for Personal Property Tax returns process Partner with Industry leaders to develop thought leadership plans for property tax What you will need: Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Experience: Six years of experience serving in a tax role with a public accounting firm and/or professional services firm. Certification/ Licenses: CPA certification. JD or EA (Enrolled Agent) may be accepted in place of CPA certification. Deep knowledge and understanding of State & Local Tax and Property Tax preferred.
