JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description Supports end users by navigating the IT infrastructure and relevant applications. Troubleshoots and resolves issues with PCs, local network, server, telephone and other IT platforms. Collaborates with multiple third party support providers. Documents incidents in the service operations management system. Job Responsibilities Collaborates with multiple third party support providers to troubleshoot and resolve local end user and IT environment issues and service requests Acts as the liaison between the Service Desk and end users Supports preparations and user acceptance testing required for infrastructure projects and enhancements. Meets the expectations of continuous improvement initiatives while sustaining 5S standards across all sites Collaborates with end users to prepare for Audit and SOX compliance Communicates with customers internally and externally to document resolutions, recommended courses of action, and follow through on project requirements and enhancements Executes IT operations and service delivery decisions as specified Performs other duties as assigned Job Skills Requirements Solid knowledge and experience with servers, networks, PC/printer maintenance, antivirus software, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office Ability to recognize and analyze technical problems Basic project management skills Demonstrates understanding of IT policies, standards and procedures Ability to communicate and explain technical needs and problems to provide solution Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location Education Associates Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent education and experience Experience Requirements Three years of experience with desktop support Experience working with an IT Outsourcing relationship preferred Physical & Environmental Requirements Limited travel Briggs & Stratton, headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, provides innovative products and diverse power solutions to help people get work done.
