The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP ) provides strategic human resources consultation and support to leaders and employees in assigned colleges/departments in the university. The HRBP leverages strong background/experience in multiple areas of HR (e.g., employment, employee relations, engagement, HR policies, compensation, etc.) to guide and advise on a wide array of workforce and organizational matters. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities A bachelor\'s degree in human resources, Business or related field. A minimum of 3 years of related, relevant experience. Effective communication and exceptional listening skills. Ability to work with ambiguity. Demonstrated courage and composure in difficult situations. Demonstrated judgment, discretion, and strict confidentiality. Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment regulations and laws. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with people of different backgrounds, perceptions, and experiences. Proven experience with managing complex employee relations investigations. Exceptional problem-solving skills. Effective relationship-building skills across all levels of employees. Ability to independently set priorities and manage multiple assignments/projects/situations with tight deadlines.
