In the role of Human Resources Assistant you will beworking in Human Resources. The Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization\'s human resource department. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. The business needs for this position may be re-evaluated at the conclusion of the outlined term and may be convered to a full-time permanat role. Primary Functions Serve as a member of several Human Resources divisions (Organizational Development, Employee Relations, and Faculty Affairs) attending team meetings, anticipating, and initiating action regarding administrative functions while supporting, contributing to or coordinating projects. Coordinate large-scale schedules, meetings, appointments, travel itineraries and related arrangements for the HR Leadership team. Provide office support to include being the key resource on HR matters, collaborating with other MCW administrative staff, including processing of registered mail, composing correspondence as needed, and proofreading and formatting documents to ensure accuracy. Maintain confidentiality with sensitive HR information. Support internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department. Compile data and information from multiple sources and prepare reports. Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation including reviewing and compiling employee file requests. Perform periodic HR policy audits to initiate reviews, updates and approval process to ensure policy compliance is maintained, tracked and filed appropriately. Assist with the maintenance of HR internal webpages and assist with divisional newsletter creation and electronic distribution. Distribute mail and organize filing systems accurately maintaining records. Perform back-up administrative support coordinating department meeting schedules, including coordination of speakers, topics and agendas, as well as set up of the meeting room each month.
