JOB REQUIREMENTS: WBS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Energy Forecasting Analyst in our Milwaukee Public Service Building location. Job Summary The Sales/Revenue Forecasting Analyst is a member of the Sales and Revenue Forecasting team within the Finance department of WEC Energy Group\'s (WEC) WEC Business Services business unit. The analyst is responsible for preparing WEC\'s long-term forecasts of electric and natural gas sales volumes and revenues, peak demand, and customer counts along with supporting daily, monthly, and quarterly reports tracking actual to forecast variances and trends. The position requires skills in data analysis and familiarity with economics and statistics. This is a job family posting (Associate Analyst, Analyst, Senior Analyst) and experience will be the determining factor. Job Responsibilities Develop long term sales and revenue forecasts Communicate forecast results to key stakeholders including senior leadership Support weather-normalization process and variance reporting Prepare testimony and exhibits in support of rate cases and other regulatory proceedings May provide expert testimony in regulatory proceedings in support of sales and revenue forecasts Respond to data requests from state public service commissions and intervenors in regulatory proceedings Work with departments across the company to ensure accuracy of data and validity of information Lead and support process improvement initiatives Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor\'s degree is required Able to work effectively in an environment that requires collaboration with individuals across functional boundaries to achieve goals Able to recognize and handle confidential information in a discreet manner Able to coordinate and manage data analysis requests of varying size and scope Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high degree of accuracy Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to a broad audience Preferred Qualifications A Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in business, economics or closely related degree. Quantitative modeling, forecasting, or financial analysis, including exposure to forecasting software, techniques or Education. Experience developing and managing large volumes of data and/or database relationships. Proficient in MS Office, particularly with Excel and PowerPoint. Possess quantitative skills including an understanding of statistics and regression analysis.
