Title: Endoscopic TechnicianCity, State: Milwaukee, WILocation: Columbia St. Mary's HospitalDepartment: Endoscopy/ GI
$1,500 Sign on Bonus
Schedule: Part-time - 20 hours per week - 8 and 10 hour shifts are typical between 7am and 5:30pm with varying start times. Call every 4th weekend and one day during the week. Holidays are a part of call rotation.
What You Will Do
Support endoscopic procedures by preparing the equipment, field and managing specimens.
Prepare patients for procedures by reviewing medical history, appropriately positioning patient and cleaning/shaving/numbing testing sites as appropriate.
Interpret, describe, and report test results. Recognize recording errors and artifacts and reacts appropriately.
Monitor patient prior to, during and after procedures and promptly reports any abnormal findings in patient's condition.
Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies and lab area.
What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
