This Electrical Engineering role will split time between vertical and horizontal infrastructure. If you want to join a company invested in you and your success, join us as an Electrical Engineer.

The Electrical Engineer will lead or assist with the development of plans for electrical power and distribution systems, intelligent transportation system (ITS) improvements, vehicle charging stations, roadway lighting, pump stations, network communications, traffic signal design, field data collection, and report writing. Position is hybrid (remote and in-office). Candidate can work out of the Chicago, St. Louis, or the Milwaukee offices.

As our newest team member, you’ll play an active role in the development of plans, specifications and estimates critical infrastructure projects. We’d provide you professional development working with other Professional Engineers. Joining our team, you’ll have the chance to work on exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects and utilize your electrical design expertise to create innovative solutions.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Four (4) or more years’ professional project experience designing electrical systems supporting transportation infrastructure projects.

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering

  • Engineer in Training (EIT/FE) with a desire to pursue PE license

  • Valid driver’s license & able to travel for site visits occasionally

  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills

  • Knowledge of and experience using REVIT, AutoCAD, or MicroStation design software

  • Perform other professional services to support project demands of the office.

  • Strong oral and written communications skills

  • Strong time management and attention to detail

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) License

  • Experience applying National Electrical Code to a wide variety of projects
