Job Description Position Overview: The Director, Quality Management provides Quality Systems and Management support to the beverage operations throughout North America. The position will have ownership of the internal Product Safety oriented Quality Management Systems execution and auditing for the Beverage Business Group. Additionally, the position will lead proactive and reactive commercial activities along with operational activities support. Essential Responsibilities and Duties: Responsibility for the structure, successful implementation, and maintenance of the Amcor Product Safety Oriented Quality Management System in Beverage Group manufacturing facilities Establishes and implements best practices in standards, methods, and procedures across all plants in the operating group Ensures that quality management activities are directed towards process improvement, continuous quality improvement, cost effectiveness of processes, systems and procedures, and permanent corrective / preventive actions Responsible for compiling and reporting upon overall cost of quality as related to external failures, internal failures, and appraisal cost as a % of sales as well as other metrics Uses Advanced Quality Planning to affect the delivery of reliable, high quality...
