FTE: 1.000000 Shift: Shift 1 Job Summary: The Clinical Coordinator will be the primary contact and resource to the physician/researcher the research staff, and Froedtert Health department Leaders and staff for the clinical research protocols and/or projects. This position will be responsible for performing a comprehensive Medicare Coverage Analysis, provide assistance to Froedtert Health departments to provide the hospitals pricing for research project needs, helping to identify and determine hospital operational and clinical feasibility, provide pertinent education, collaborate to develop a study billing plan to support billing compliance as necessary. This position will report directly to the Manager of the Office of Clinical Research and Innovative Care. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is required. Hospital billing compliance experience is preferred. Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid billing rules is preferred. Medical auditing, billing, quality management, case management and/or consulting experience is preferred.EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Bachelor\'s degree in Nursing is required.SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Must exercise independent judgment; Must have excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to work in a team and demonstrated interpersonal skills. Must have general understanding of services that are standard of care in a hospital setting versus those that are research or innovative.LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
