The Humanities, Social Science, and Communication (HSC) Department at the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) invites applications for a full-time position of Assistant Professor of Psychology, with a preference for Neuropsychology, Cognitive Psychology, or related field of specialization. The candidate will be responsible for teaching a variety of psychology courses which could include Foundations of Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Addictive and Compulsive Behavior, Psychological Disorders and Mental Health, and others. There is also an opportunity for the selected candidate to develop new courses that align with their area of specialization. The standard teaching load for faculty at MSOE is 4 courses per semester. The selected candidate will also be expected to engage in scholarship and contribute service to the institution and their profession. MSOE utilizes long-term contracts for full-time faculty and provides opportunity for rank advancement. MSOE expects, supports, and rewards a strong commitment to excellence in teaching.
