The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support the Division of Asthma, Allergy & Clinical Immunology Services located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at Children\'s Wisconsin Clinics Building. Children\'s partners with the Medical College of Wisconsin as a regional and national (international) leader in the field of immunology research and treatment. We are a Jeffrey Modell Diagnostic Center for Primary Immunodeficiencies. That means we offer a full range of treatments for immune diseases. We are also dedicated to research that helps us improve our diagnostic testing and care. In addition, our very own Clinical Immunodiagnostic & Research Laboratory (CIRL) offers some of the most advanced testing in the country. As a result, we get quicker, better results for you and your children. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in program administration, patient care, patient safety, research, quality improvement, and teaching. The Ideal Candidate will be a Family or Dual Certified APP with excellent interpersonal & communication skills, positive attitude, and a team player wanting to be part of a thriving and very collaborative academic practice at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). Areas of responsibility will include, but not be limited to providing direct patient care to both pediatric and adult population an outpatient setting. In this role you will, The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works as part of a multidisciplinary health care team, providing a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients of Asthma, Allergy and Clinical Immunology as a member of the Department of Pediatrics. The APP will collaborate with a physician or physician team to assess and treat the acute and chronic health care needs of children and adults within our practice and will provide instruction (both formal and informal) to parents, students, nurses, residents, and other health care professionals.
