This role involves shift work day, night and weekend work, 12 hour shifts

Purpose of the job

To run and maintain machinery and equipment in multiple processes, ensuring quality specifications are met while delivering budget KPIs for the area.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

• Maintain safe working practices at all times

• Completion of quality checks, reacting to non-conformances in a timely manner

• Completion of autonomous and preventative maintenance tasks

• Problem solving machine faults and quality deviations

• Communication up and down the line and to the team leader

• Handover compilation and communication to counterpart using line log books

• Drive self-improvement and development through training matrix and following SOPs

• Housekeeping maintained to required standards

• Utilisation of live data (real time indicators) to prevent quality deviations and line downtime

• Material and machine part changeovers

• React to line spoilage, identify losses and put in place improvements

• Assist line engineer with breakdowns and conversions

• Float between multiple back end processes providing cover and support where required
