Tarana Wireless Senior RF Technician in Milpitas, California
This is a very exciting time to join the Tarana family. Years of R&D and prototyping have led to the successful commercial release of our G1 products built with custom in-house designed ASICs and RFICs. With many product variants coming up this coming year, we are looking to expand and enhance our RF Lab capabilities.
Job Responsibilities:
Work with a team of RF engineers to collect test data for them, and troubleshoot and repair circuits as required
This is a hands on position, with most time spent in a lab environment
Measure and improve impedance matching of RF circuits
The circuits include both RF transceiver circuits and antennas in the 3 to 7 GHz frequency range
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
5 -12 years of related experience
Good RF troubleshooting, debug, rework, and test skills
Experience using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, to make measurements on RF circuits
Experience documenting test setups and measurement results to share with development engineers
Ability to tune RF circuits for good impedance matching
Good communication skills
Collaborates well with a team
The salary range for this position is: $90,000 to $120,000
Compensation will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to: skill set, years of experience and the employee’s geographic location.
