Manager, IoTium Security & Smart Building Suite
IoTium is a zero-touch deployment, software-based managed service solution that shields all IoT and connected devices in buildings from the internet, facilitates secure remote access and management of networked assets, enables CIOs to monitor and gain visibility of their entire real estate portfolios and lowers operating costs.
IoTium eliminates security and management oversight challenges faced by building owners through a powerful edge-to-cloud managed service solution that unifies and protects the building’s current and future assets, securely transports data to the cloud for centralized visibility and control, and standardizes all remote access protocols for increased security. IoTium is already deployed in over 800 buildings and is growing rapidly.
As the Product Manager (PM), you will be responsible for the IoTium product feature set and success. You will own the product vision and collaborate with marketing on go-to-market strategy to continuously refine product market fit. You will work with sales and customer success to understand customer pain points and opportunities, distill those insights into requirements and work across engineering teams and product leadership to develop the product roadmap. The PM will also be responsible for monitoring adoption and usage of product features, using the data to inform feature prioritization and refinement.
You are a curious, energetic, optimistic, and hands-on, get-it-done product manager. You have experience doing user research, developing user and customer personas, creating product requirements and roadmaps, managing the agile software development processes, UAT, and software deployment.
You are passionate about product management and excited about IoT and security technology. You are self-motivated, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, learning new skills and expanding your horizons. You take the mission seriously but not yourself.
Identify market needs from primary research, customer engagements, competitive analysis, sales feedback and your own experience to develop compelling product requirement documents (PRDs)
Develop compelling customer value propositions and product positioning. Working with product marketing and sales on pricing and go-to-market strategy.
Articulate the customer benefits and business outcomes of using IoTium in a compelling manner. Train the sales team and assist them to be wildly successful. Train the customer success team to drive feature adoption and usage.
Interact with customers and provide active product feedback internally
Analyze market trends, products and technologies to develop insights that enable View to maintain industry leading products and market position
Attend industry symposiums, conferences, and trade shows for supporting marketing activities and sales enablement
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
IoT, security, or smart building industry background is a bonus
5-7 years of product management experience in B2B/enterprise SaaS products
User-centered Design Skills: Run user research and customer workshops, develop buyer and user personas, create user stories and acceptance criteria for product backlog.
Strong Messaging and Positioning Skills: Create clear articulations of product value proposition and customer need. Work with product marketing to shape the messaging to all market channels sales training, webinars, social media, and briefings.
Presentation Skills: In this role, you will present in front of both large and small groups. You should be accomplished and comfortable as a speaker

B.S. and MBA, or equivalent experience
