Description We are inviting applications for the role of Accounts Payable Clerk in the Semi-Conductors sector. This role is based in Milpitas, California, and offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be tasked with handling accounts payable tasks, providing support to other teams when necessary, and maintaining detailed records.

Responsibilities: • Handle accounts payable duties, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner. • Assist with audit procedures by matching invoices with payments and packing slips. • Support the Accounts Receivable team as necessary, particularly in tasks requiring proficiency in Excel. • Actively participate in the monthly close process, including managing accruals and journal entries. • Show initiative in resolving issues, such as contacting the inventory department when a packing slip is missing. • Maintain open communication with the team, sharing important updates and changes. • Run weekly reports using Excel. • Be adaptable and ready to learn new software, as a transition from ManMan to a new ERP – IMS is anticipated by the end of the year. • Provide backup support to other team functions as and when required. Requirements • Possess a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent

• Prior experience in Accounts Payable or a related field is preferred

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) software

• Familiarity with basic accounting principles

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Understanding of the semi-conductors and electric component manufacturing industry is an advantage

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically

• Demonstrated professionalism and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
