Job Title : Administrative Assistant/Customer Service Representative

Pay Rate : $18 - $21/hour

Hours: 8AM-4PM M-F

Job Summary:

Adecco is currently assisting a local client seeking an organized and efficient Administrative Assistant/Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in administrative tasks, customer service, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. This role involves handling phone and email communications, taking orders, invoicing, accounts payable, running errands, and filing invoices.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Administrative and Customer Service:

  • Handle incoming phone calls and emails professionally and promptly.

  • Take and process customer orders, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to the relevant plants.

  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues as needed.

  • Maintain organized and accurate filing systems for invoices and other documents.

  • Run errands as required for the office.

Invoicing and Accounts Payable:

  • Prepare and send invoices to customers.

  • Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.

  • Reconcile invoices and resolve any discrepancies.

General Office Duties:

  • Maintain and update records in Microsoft Excel and Word.

  • Order and manage office supplies.

  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the team.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an administrative or customer service role.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for running errands.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour
