Job Title: Software Engineer Senior [MULTIPLE POSITIONS]

Duties: Build and maintain proprietary DevOps tools. Responsible for Cloud engineering design and the organization wide Secure Supply chain design and implementation. Implement security techniques in order to strengthen our services against cyber-attack. Ensure best practices in our container build pipeline. Develop Infrastructure as Code (IAC) to ensure repeatable and reliable deployment of services. Collaborate and coordinate with global software teams as they build applications to be run on the Xcelerator Cloud Runtime and Xcelerator Continuous Deployment product. Build “foundational services” and deploy them using custom Kubernetes configuration management systems and secure supply chain offerings. Design infrastructure patterns that accommodate Siemens software architecture. Program software build pipelines in Xcelerator CICD which accommodate company software needs and leverage proprietary security techniques.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field and 60 months of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer-related occupation. Position requires experience in the following: Working with Cloud software design and architecture AWS cloud software stack; Developing Agile software methods, such as GITLab, JFROG Artifactory, AquaSec, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Harbor, or similar tools; Utilizing enterprise authentication and authorization technologies; Working with Enterprise Cyber Security methodologies GITOps and continuous deployment tools; Working with container hosting technologies; Performing software security analysis and incident lifecycle management; Working with software design lifecycle methodologies; Utilizing cryptography and cryptographic methods. 50% telecommuting permitted within commutable distance.
