Over the Air (OTA) - Lead Systems Integration Engineer, Milford, MI, General Motors. Plan and lead (set technical objectives of 4 OTA System Integration Engineers) debugging and integration of Over the Air (OTA) software feature sets and controls at full vehicle and bench levels for Central Gateway Module (CGM reflash master), and 38 target embedded Electronic Control Units (ECUs) using Controller Area Network (CAN), Automotive Ethernet, and Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS) protocols. Provide validation ready integrated OTA solutions by 80% milestone to enable intensive testing from validation teams. Design and implement automation framework to improve OTA reliability and stability using Python, Embedded C and C++ programming languages. Create and maintain integration plans for Over the Air (OTA) of subsystem components - CGM, Virtual Cockpit Unit (VCU), Telematics Communication Platform (TCP), Body Control Module (BCM), Center Stack Module CSM), Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC), and amplifier, for projects for Vehicle Intelligence Platform (VIP) programs, and lead integration planning for new VIP-based ICE passenger vehicle and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) lines. Bachelor, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related. Sixty months' experience as Engineer, Technical Lead, Architect, or related, including software development using Embedded C and C++ programming languages, and developing embedded automotive software using Controller Area Network (CAN) protocol, or related.
