This role can be based in either our Shelton, CT, Milford, CT or Coppell, TX offices

Position Summary:

The person who takes this role will be supporting the different initiatives to steer the portfolio for a specific Line of Business portfolio or products along the Lifecycle, working closely with US&CA Marketing & Innovation leads, Commercial, cross functional technical teams; Commercial, Technical, and Marketing Teams; and member of the end-to-end supply chain. Key Business unit collaborator for BU.

Purpose

  • Key Partner as voice of Supply Chain with the BU leadership and key relationship NPD/NPI, PM, Supply Chain, Marketing, Commercial teams for BU.

  • Lead facilitator for EBP Step 1 for specific BU for North America

  • Instrumental partner to drive growth within the business unit by supporting successful NPI execution.

  • Analysis and reporting to drive decisions based in data for the entire NPD Stage & Gate process which starts with the Manufacturing Strategy Review into Concept phase and through implementation phase to launch.

  • Key SC impacts to be considered, elevated if risks become known, and forward that impact E2E Supply Chain. There will be a special focus on:

  • Finished Goods SLOB reduction to reach 10% for year.

  • Portfolio management and recommendations included in all new product introductions and transitions management to mitigate SLOB creation.

  • Discontinuations management and deletions to mitigate or budget for customer reclamations.

  • Non-working trade costs and fine mitigation from improved planning

  • Lead initiatives or projects related to the optimization of the product portfolio in various stages of the lifecycle

  • Project management for all projects in the BU including innovations, non-core Innovations, & operational Cost saving projects, leading the cross functional project team execution of a project with timelines, scope, timing, cost, and resources assigned.

  • Run risk assessment and mitigation planning sessions to ensure success. Elevates the risk mitigation plans to commercial team for alignment.

  • Collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders inside and outside of the team including EPC teammates.

  • Responsible for being the voice of Supply in any product change in the E2E “Go to Market” Process.

Technical Skills

  • Experience and proven success in Project Management from understanding of the development process and potential SC commercialization execution risks and impacts.

  • Broad based knowledge to help drive risk assessment and mitigation planning for New Product Introduction to ensure successful execution on-time for timing required.

  • Working knowledge of how SC or risks impact P&L for BU.

  • Critical thinking skills a must with strong Data analysis & insights generation capability to drive opportunities to improve business via CIP projects or Portfolio management recommendations.

  • Strong capability in Inventory management principles and techniques to include into monthly SLOB discussions and Portfolio management proposals.

  • Experience in working with Power BI reports or modelling Dashboard using different sources of Data would be beneficial.

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in technical field (Engineering, Chemistry, Finance), Business Management, Supply Chain or related fields

  • 5-7 years of experience in Supply Chain, Project Management, Product Life Cycle Management, or equivalent experience

  • Proficient in Excel, Power Point, and knowledge of Power BI, & working understanding of SAP/ERP.

  • Experience in Process Improvement and process mapping efforts.

  • Understanding of Product Lifecycle and Portfolio Management.

  • Goal-oriented, data & reporting, collaboration, and good communication will complete the profile.

Work Environment

  • Travel may be required: 10-20%.

The salary range for this position is $92,000 - $125,000. Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance.
