Global Buyer - VIE Contract

iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

As Global Buyer VIE in our Procurement team, you’ll be assisting with various competitive bid projects required in support of Procurement initiatives and action plans for their implementation across the globe. This will include all aspects of sourcing from needs assessment, analysis, project management, negotiation, reporting dashboards set-up and management, performance measurement, and supplier relationship management.

Main responsibilities:

  • Contribute into global procurement strategy development and execution.

  • Collect business needs for spend categories and internal customers.

  • Perform spend analysis and develop purchasing plans to obtain best value.

  • Bids analysis, negotiation, contracting and risk management.

  • Support Procurement strategies when appropriate for spend categories.

  • Issue resolution related to spend categories.

  • Review of contracts/master agreements to ensure cost and quality are in line with agreement conditions.

About you

Experience:

  • 1 year of full-time working experience in a similar role in procurement or experience in global data management, analytics and insights firms on client service and sales positions.

  • Experience in a multinational pharmaceutical and/or biotech company would be an advantage.

Soft and Technical skills:

  • Advanced in Excel and Power Point, proficiency in Think-cell.

  • Generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) tools usages can be an asset.

  • High level of analytical skill combined with excellent computer skills.

  • Effective trouble shooting, problem solving and organizational skills. Able to handle frequent interruptions, meet tight deadlines, and handle conflict in an effective manner.

  • Ability to interact with people at all levels of responsibility.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Stakeholder management.

  • Ability to work autonomously.

Education:

  • Master's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Analytics or another relevant field.

Languages:

  • Fluency in English.
