DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will utilize your skills to repair a variety of building structures, including roofs, doors, furniture, and temporary partitions. You will also operate power and hand tools to complete assigned carpentry duties, paint building interiors and exteriors, perform masonry work on buildings, foundations, walks and walls, install and maintain plumbing fixtures and drainage systems, and install electric circuits, wall receptacles, switches, and lighting fixtures. In addition, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment and systems, welding and brazing metals using arc and acetylene welders, and erecting steel for construction. You will also perform repairs on bridge structures, including building forms, finishing concrete, and welding steel components by reading blue prints.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Work hours are subject to change due to weather and season. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirement: Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.

Special Requirement: This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.

Additional Requirement: You must be able to perform essential job functions. Preferred Qualification (not required): Certified welder certificate in accordance with American Welding Society (AWS) and PENNDOT Specifications.
