Zions Bancorporation Credit Development Instructor (Fully In-Office) - Midvale, UT in Midvale, Utah

We are now accepting resumes for our Credit Development Instructor. This position is located in Utah and will be housed at our Zions Technology Center located in Midvale, Utah. This position will be fully in-office. The ideal candidate for this role will have the skills and experience necessary to meet the following responsibilities and qualifications:

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development, administration, coordination, and delivery of credit training to enterprise-wide employees.

  • Conduct training sessions.

  • Develop, locate and/or deliver training programs to enhance knowledge and skills required to optimize individual and company performance.

  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of credit, compliance, policies, and procedures.

  • Investigate and recommend effective training methods and procedures.

  • Provide managers and supervisors the assistance needed to implement effective credit techniques in their areas.

  • Assist employees in developing their individual credit skills for current job and in preparation for future assignments.

  • Maintain records on all training provided.

  • Track the progress and performance of those involved in the credit training process.

  • Disseminate information on available training courses.

  • Responsible to recommend attendance by appropriate individuals.

  • Takes responsibility for training equipment and materials.

    Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor's in Finance, Business or a related field and 2+ years of lending, credit, banking, credit training practices and procedures or other directly related experience.

  • A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.

  • Working knowledge of commercial lending, credit analysis, credit processes and procedures, lending laws and regulations, training practices, principles, applications, and methods as they pertain to credit training.

  • Sound knowledge of accounting and finance.

  • Ability to facilitate courses and instruct lenders.

  • Solid communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite for reporting, documentation, and presentations.

  • Must have demonstrated ability to achieve training goals.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively assist other team members.

  • Must be able to demonstrate sound judgment, integrity, and strong professional code of ethics.
