Robert Half Office Manager in Midland, Texas

Description We are seeking an Office Manager to join our team in Midland, Texas. This role revolves around managing all non-clinical aspects of our dental practice, including operations, staffing, scheduling, patient care, health and safety compliance, oral healthcare education, and marketing outreach. This role also calls for overseeing the overall performance of all non-clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the office

• Manage non-clinical staff performance, fostering team collaboration and sharing information

• Maintain team adherence to policies and procedures

• Handle patient consultations in line with preferred treatment practices and suggestions

• Ensure all record keeping is 100% accurate at all times

• Ensure that the dental supply inventory is optimized, controlling costs while ensuring supplies are available to meet treatment requirements

• Coordinate and work closely with HR regarding all hiring, training, counseling, and all other employee relations needs

• Utilize Dentrix Dental Software, About Time, and other relevant software for Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Answering Inbound Calls

• Identify potential patient escalations and engage appropriate resources to discuss issues, seek out root causes, and provide solutions to systemic issues

• Build strong relationships with all doctors to facilitate treatment and employee satisfaction. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years experience in an Office Manager role or similar

• Proficient in Dentrix Dental Software

• Experience with 'About Time' software

• Strong understanding and experience with accounting functions

• Knowledge and experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to effectively manage and respond to inbound calls

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a relevant discipline will be appreciated
