Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Position will be in North Carolina for the first 9 months then full time in Midland, Texas.

Must have thermodynamics, refrigeration, flowing water experience/centrifuge.

Job Description

The Mechanical Engineer will lead the team by effectively communicating, translating, and conveying observations to team members. This role involves understanding and managing the R&D device process. The Mechanical Engineer will specify the functionality of mechanical devices for the automation engineer to create user interfaces. Responsibilities include overseeing manufacturing processes, taking products from concept to production, and providing innovative solutions to product design and development. Additional duties include creating and reviewing bills of materials, manuals, and fabrication drawings, completing mechanical design and engineering calculations, and optimizing machine design materials selection, stress analysis, and structural design.

Hard Skills

• 3CAD AutoCAD Inventor

• Solidworks

• Refrigeration

• Thermodynamics

• Wastewater management (pumps, motors, flowing water)

Soft Skills

• Great communication skills

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Midland, Texas.

Work Environment

Building a new team in Midland, TX on a customer site focused on environmental eco-friendly initiatives. This role involves starting and shaping the team culture.
