Robert Half HRIS Analyst in Midland, Texas

Description We are looking for a diligent HRIS Analyst to join our team in the Transportation Equipment Manufacturing industry in Midland, Texas. The role involves administering and enhancing the company's budgeting and financial reporting software, assisting with management requests, and engaging in strategic planning for future system implementations.

Responsibilities:

• Administer the company's financial reporting software, ensuring accurate configuration and optimal performance.

• Collaboratively work with management to assist with requests, and provide configuration guidance, demonstrations, and tips.

• Perform functional testing and troubleshooting, resolving issues or optimizing product configuration to meet business needs.

• Communicate effectively with end-users, providing guidance and accelerating acceptance and familiarity with the system.

• Keep abreast of industry practices and engage with management and end-users on relevant topics.

• Manage user access and system setup, maintaining optimal performance and effectiveness.

• Identify, recommend, and implement changes to enhance system performance and effectiveness.

• Support the annual budgeting process, providing reporting and analysis on the company's financial performance.

• Assist with the preparation and analysis of quarterly, annual, and 5-year operating plans.

• Engage in ad-hoc financial analysis, including special projects at the request of leadership.

• Collaborate with leadership and provide input regarding strategic planning and future implementations of the system. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Transportation Equipment Manufacturing industry.

• Proficient in using ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now.

• Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is essential.

• Experience in creating and managing Banner Ads.

• Familiarity with Ceridian and About Time software.

• Proven track record in Ad Hoc Reporting.

• Previous experience in Auditing within a similar industry.

• Understanding of Benefit Functions and Business Process Functions.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required.

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

• Must be able to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Willingness to keep up with industry trends and ongoing learning.
