Description Candidates that have a finance background and possess outstanding communication skills, may qualify for this Financial Analyst position via Robert Half. Daily functions include conducting financial modeling on various financial products as well as measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans, advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives, and preparing reports for management. The Financial Analyst role is a permanent employment opportunity in the Midland, Texas. What you get to do every day

• Explain and understand internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending

• Endorse weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings as well as P& L forecasting

• Drive monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required

• Compose and oversee forecasting reports

• Work with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization

• Work with the Accounting team on monthly and quarterly financial close processes

• Deliver valuable foresight and decision support by enabling effective Business Intelligence (BI)

• An ideal candidate should be highly flexible, comfortable with large amounts of information, and adept at managing expectations

• Track of monthly and quarterly performance by comparing actuals versus expectations to ensure business partners handle their resources r

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to ensure plans are executed properly

• Recognize potential risks and opportunities while analyzing performance to date Requirements - Skilled in the construction and delivery of effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds

• Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience prioritized)

• Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

• Skill with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required

• 3+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

• Comprehensive knowledge of account analysis

• Adeptness in Ad Hoc Analysis

• Accounting management experience

• Expertise in account management

• Experience with Ad Hoc Financial Analysis

• Acquisition management experience

• experience in in Spreadsheet and ERP system

• BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

• Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing

• Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
