Job Overview
Work within a team to support customer implementation, training, on-going service, and cross-sale of treasury management, merchant service, and deposit products for commercial and business banking clients, in compliance with state and federal regulation and company policies and established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Principal Accountabilities
Accountable for completing the in-market processes for adding new Treasury Management Services/new Treasury Management Relationships, training customers in the use of the complete span of Treasury Management products/services including Online Banking, Remote Deposit Capture, Positive Pay, Merchant Services, and various other services. Provide customer support through implementation and on an ongoing basis. Identify additional cross sale products and articulate product advantages and details as needed. Represent the Bank to both internal and external customers in a courteous, professional manner in face-to-face, written, and telephone communications. Accountable for adherence to compliance standards including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), quality of documentation and timeliness of service activities. Actively protect confidentiality of customer and account information. Demonstrate Horizon Bank's commitment to the communities we serve through involvement in local organizations and events. Duties
- Complete all documents necessary to implement Treasury Management services.
- Prepare training materials that will be needed at the customer site when new services are introduced.
- Provide specific training for clients using new Treasury Management and Merchant Services.
- Keep current on all Treasury Management product features across the span of Checking Accounts, Money Market Accounts, Treasury Management, and Merchant Services.
- Answer client questions about newly implemented services.
- Routinely follow-up with current customers to determine understanding and satisfaction with the Treasury Management Services.
- Report suspicious transactions or unusual occurrences to supervisor.
- Conduct and document periodic risk reviews.
- Perform all work in compliance with established regulations, policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and instructions.
- Maintain customer confidence and protect bank operations by keeping information private and confidential.
- Participate in ongoing skill, compliance, risk management and security training as required for the position and apply knowledge in daily tasks.
Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills
College degree with at least 5 years of experience in commercial banking or branch management.
- General understanding of Payment Systems including Wire Transfer, ACH, Check Processing, and Merchant Credit Card acceptance.
- Knowledge of agency guidelines and industry standards as they relate to Treasury Management.
- Exceptional organization, time management and follow-up skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, bank employees and outside service providers.
- Ability to plan detailed instructions for clients across a wide range of procedures.
- Ability to perform complex mathematical computations with Treasury Management pricing models.
- Must have computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel. Core Competencies
