The Engineering deprtment has opening for the following summer-seasonal positions: Seasonal Engineering Supervisor
Job Responsibilities
Assist the Engineering/Survey staff with day-to-day tasks. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ability to provide construction inspection & surveying services to ensure projects are built according to project plans and specifications.
- Ability to perform drafting and design work using MicroStation CAD software.
- Ability to oversee and develop contract bidding documents and engineered design drawings.
- Ability to review construction drawings and prepare quantity take-offs.
Qualifications
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age; and
- Able to pass a physical; drug screen and criminal background check; and
- Must also possess a valid Michigan driver's license and a good driving record.
Two years of professional experience in engineering; or construction management preferred
