Adecco US, Inc. Service Technician in Middletown, Pennsylvania

Adecco is seeking a dedicated Tool Repair Technician to join our team and contribute to the quality service outlet for equipment repairs. The ideal candidate will perform timely and efficient repairs on tools, ensuring the highest standards of quality and service are met. This role supports our commitment to value-added service by enhancing the image associated with our products and contributing to the company's financial success through cost control, process improvement, and operational excellence.

Type: Temp to Hire

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain technical knowledge and skills through continuous professional development, including studying repair manuals, schematics, and technical files.

  • Perform high-quality repairs on products through accurate problem diagnosis and corrective measures using appropriate tools and systems.

  • Utilize hand scanners to receive, diagnose, pick spare parts, repair, and complete tool repairs.

  • Conduct final functional and safety testing on all repaired tools to ensure customer safety.

  • Assist in maintaining adequate parts inventory through continuous monitoring, accurate picking, and identifying inventory needs.

  • Support Senior Repair Technicians in maintaining communication with customers and sales personnel.

  • Participate in Tool Repair Workbench Summits to benchmark repairs, reduce costs, and standardize repairs across the network.

  • Provide data and feedback to quality and product managers to improve the overall quality and safety of tools.

  • Maintain organized work areas, tools, and equipment to perform duties efficiently and safely.

  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and values.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Adverse Working Conditions:

  • Exposure to workshop environment conditions, including heat, cold, noise, dust, and other particles.

  • Use of hand tools and equipment to disassemble and assemble power tools.

Safety Equipment Requirements:

  • Comply with all safety regulations per company and OSHA standards.

  • Wear steel toe boots, safety glasses, safety vests, and other required safety equipment when working in the facility or operating machinery.

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasionally lift up to 70 lbs.

  • Stand for long periods and perform repetitive reaching, bending, and climbing.

  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours daily while performing tool repairs at a workstation.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
