Our client, a manufacturer of cable manufacturing is seeking a industrial maintenance mechanic to join their team. As a industrial maintenance mechanic, you will be part of the industrial maintenance team supporting the proper running of the machines within the facility. The ideal candidate will have at least three years experience in industrial maintenance and/or heavy equipment operation, understanding of mechanical machinery and computer knowlege which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

Location: MIDDLETOWN, NY

Pay Range: $22-25/HR

What’s the Job?

• Ensure correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)

• Troubleshoot and maintain AC and DC motors, plastic extruders, electrical systems, pneumatic tools and hydraulic equipment and state of the art electron beam machine.

• Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing metrics

• Assess the condition of used parts using micrometers, calipers and specifications

• Maintain electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical knowledge via ongoing training, industry workshops and technical reading

What’s Needed?

• 3 years industrial maintenance or heavy equipment experience required

• Advanced understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics along with electrical systems

• Comfortable with computers

• Capable handling hand, power and specialized tools

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
