JOB TITLE: Senior System Engineer

JOB LOCATION: 200 S Laurel Ave, Bldg C, Middletown, NJ 07748

Duties: Senior System Engineer needed by AT&T Services, Inc., in Middletown, NJ to elaborate on the design and interfaces for specific components including defining subsystems and interfaces, allocate responsibilities to subsystems, understand solution deployment, and communicate requirements for interactions with solution context. Align development teams to a shared technical direction and partner with teams on solutions and interfaces. Validate technology assumptions, and evaluate implementation alternatives. Work on critical NFRs at the solution level. Create and enable the continuous delivery pipeline including planning, defining, and applying high-level design of system solution and explore alternatives as needed, develop the architectural runway in support of new business features and capabilities. Work with portfolio stakeholders, solution and enterprise architects, develop, analyze, split, and realize the implementation of enablers. Work on project planning, system and solution demos, and retrospective workshops. Work with architectural integration of external components, systems, and platforms. Work on cloud migration knocking down roadblocks, driving POCs, and implementing solutions to problems. Work on cloud applications, data tiers, networks, security, infrastructure technologies, cloud modernization, migrations principles, processes, and standards. Enable applications scheduled for modernization to re-platform, refactor, re-architect, and migrate to public cloud with minimal impact. Work on deliverables around modernization assessments, technical design, modernization solution implementation, analysis, and consolation. Utilize Microsoft Azure administration and DevOps as a subject matter expert (SME) for build and deploy work in the Microsoft Azure Public Cloud. Work with Azure DevOps (ADO), Terraform, IaaS and PaaS implementations, Azure Monitor, Insights, and performance tuning. Utilize Public Cloud networking for implementation of network interfaces using Domain Name Services (DNS) and Azure Private Endpoints (PLS & PE).

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience in a related occupation working on cloud applications, data tiers, networks, security, infrastructure technologies, cloud modernization, migrations principles, processes, and standards; enabling applications scheduled for modernization to re-platform, refactor, re-architect, and migrate to public cloud with minimal impact; working on deliverables around modernization assessments, technical design, modernization solution implementation, analysis, and consolation; utilizing Microsoft Azure administration and DevOps as a subject matter expert (SME) for build and deploy work in the Microsoft Azure Public Cloud; working with Azure DevOps (ADO), Terraform, IaaS and PaaS implementations, Azure Monitor, Insights, and performance tuning; and utilizing Public Cloud networking for implementation of network interfaces using Domain Name Services (DNS) and Azure Private Endpoints (PLS & PE).

Our Senior System Engineers earn between $158,540 - $215,800 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
