Description

Robert Half is seeking a highly motivated Part-Time Customer Service Specialist to join our client's dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction by processing purchase orders, managing our ERP system, overseeing inventory, and providing product samples. The ideal candidate will excel in customer interaction, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and contribute to a positive and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter and track customer purchase orders and follow up with sales order confirmations.

  • Oversee ERP system, ensuring accurate inventory and customer master data management.

  • Handle and fulfill product sample requests promptly.

  • Perform general office duties including ordering supplies, managing mail, and organizing bank deposits.

  • Answer and manage incoming calls and emails professionally, providing excellent service and support.

  • Identify opportunities to up-sell products where appropriate.

  • Deliver exceptional service by understanding customer needs, providing accurate information, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a positive experience.

  • Learn and adhere to all customer service procedures and policies.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • College degree preferred.

  • Prior experience in customer support, client services, sales, or a related field is desirable.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective phone and email interactions.

  • Basic computer proficiency, including experience with tracking and recording call information, filing documents, and updating customer profiles.

  • Strong ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.

  • Commitment to providing a positive customer experience and resolving issues effectively.
