Position: Facilities Manager

Location: Middletown, DE

Duration:7+ months on W2

Pay Rate: $36/hr on W2

We are looking for a Facilities Manager to join one of our Fortune 500 Real Estate clients.

Position Summary:

The Facilities Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a 600,000 square foot plant, ensuring all systems, including janitorial services, fire systems, HVAC chillers, landscaping, and forklifts, are functioning optimally. This role requires a hands-on manager who is adept at troubleshooting, thinking outside the box, and managing technical and operational aspects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of the facility, ensuring the smooth functioning of janitorial services, fire systems, HVAC chillers, air compressors, landscaping, and forklifts.

• Identify, diagnose, and resolve facility issues efficiently, using creative and practical solutions.

• Apply knowledge in fire systems, chillers, air compressors, and other technical areas to maintain facility operations.

• Develop and oversee the facility budget, ensuring financial efficiency and adherence to guidelines.

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, maintaining a strong understanding of job hazards and implementing appropriate safety measures.

• Create and manage spreadsheets, reports, and other documentation related to facility operations.

• Collaborate effectively with team members, contractors, and other stakeholders, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management with a strong technical background.

• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to create and manage reports and spreadsheets. Must be detail-oriented and organized.

• Clear understanding of the budgeting process and experience in managing and adhering to budgets.

• In-depth knowledge of job hazards and safety regulations.
