Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

Currently seeking a material handler or a kitter to put parts together for an Aerospace manufacturer. Assembly is not required, but stationing the parts will be the biggest aspect of this role. The candidate will be matching part numbers with a list number for verification. The candidate will count, document, then either ship or place the parts on a shelf. After labeling correctly, they will move the equipment to the proper storing. Candidates will be putting kits together for Jet Engines.

Hard Skills

• 6 months of material handling

• 6 months of kitting/packing/labeling/boxing

• Ability to lift up to 35lbs

• Packaging experience

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Middletown, Connecticut.

Work Environment

Working onsite at one of the largest manufacturing companies in the State of Connecticut. Very clean work environment. Very relaxed atmosphere as long as people do their jobs. No supervisor yelling or constantly pushing. Team size is 20. Jeans, steel toes, no profanity shirts, casual (no holes in jeans). Will work with other material handlers, forklift operators, and inspectors. Long-term contract with cross-training opportunities.
