Manufacturing Project Engineer Job Duties:
Develop manufacturing processes and create Work Instruction Packages
Complete Manufacturing Readiness Reviews and all manufacturing readiness level (MRL) activities
Evaluate manufacturing processes and recommend/implement process improvements
Perform root cause and corrective action (RCCA)
Perform process tryouts; evaluate process certification gaps and recommend actions plans to
achieve CPK values
Design tools or fixtures, create tool notifications, and perform tool application studies
Participate in lean manufacturing events to reduce costs and improve efficiency
Act as manufacturing liaison for engineering team
Core Qualifications:
AS or BS Degree in a STEM related field or equivalent manufacturing engineering experience
One+ years of manufacturing engineering experience. Internship experiences will be considered
Ability to learn and understand/interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
Desire to develop skills in aerospace manufacturing and part processing
Strong self project management and communication skills are required
Skills with NX, Teamcenter and/or PPAP is highly desirable
Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required
