As a CNC Machinist, you will work in a collaborative team environment with state-of-the-art equipment where you will be responsible for operating machines to perform combinations of machining operations in our cutting-edge Optics group.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate CNC and non-CNC machines to perform machining operations, including but not limited to drilling, milling, and shaping of glass material to specifications
Assemble cutting tools and position tools in machine spindles according to requirements
Write, load, edit and store programs to produce accurately machined parts
Work from complex drawings, sketches, specifications, and written/verbal instructions
Perform complex set ups to operate machinery on assignments that are new and unusual
Partner with engineering as required
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent and 1+ years of experience
A Safety-First and continuous improvement (problem-solving) mindset
Ability to read, interpret/understand blueprints, drawings, and process routings
Working knowledge of shop math and theory
Detail-oriented

We offer competitive compensation, benefits, retirement (401k) and paid time off programs. Compensation and position level will be set based on experience.

Pay Details: $23.00 to $30.00 per hour
