Job Title: 1st Shift Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled 1st Shift Maintenance Technician responsible for performing mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs on various equipment including powder coating, painting, stamping, roll forming, CNC Trumpf lasers, presses ranging from 50-700 tons, manual and Fanuc robotic welders, conveyors, ovens, saws, and slotters. This role also involves reading blueprints, hydraulic/pneumatic schematics, and electrical schematics, and troubleshooting up to 480v 3-phase.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs on powder coating, painting, stamping, roll forming, and CNC Trumpf laser equipment.

• Maintain and repair presses ranging from 50-700 tons.

• Service and troubleshoot manual and Fanuc robotic welders, conveyors, ovens, saws, and slotters.

• Read and interpret blueprints, hydraulic/pneumatic schematics, and electrical schematics.

• Troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480v 3-phase.

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

• Mechanical troubleshooting experience with presses or stamping equipment.

• Electrical troubleshooting up to 480v 3-phase.

• Ability to read blueprints, hydraulic/pneumatic schematics, and electrical schematics.

• Willingness to continue learning.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Journeyman or Electrician card is highly desired.

• Ability to troubleshoot PLCs.

• Ability to troubleshoot Fanuc robots.

Work Environment

The work environment can be loud in areas where stamping equipment is located. The facility is large, bright, clean, and well-organized with a massive Maintenance and T&D shop. The 1st shift hours are Monday to Friday from 6am to 2:30pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Middlebury, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.42 - $36.16
